Promise Keepers August 15-16th in Dallas Texas American Airlines Center
2nd Annual Family Camp at the Whoop & Holler Ranch We are returning to the ranch this year for a weekend of family fun and team building. This year we will have an olympic theme and friendly family competitions that everyone can enjoy. Joe and Cindy Schmidt will be returning to lead our camp this year! Early sign-up is available now as rooms are ssigned on a firt-come, first-served basis with a $100 deposit. See the sign-up sheet in the church lobby. Plan now to take your family for a wonderful outdoor adventure.
Helping Hand Ministry The Helping Hand ministry is a program designed to help members of our congregation as well as members of our community. Central Baptist Church is a family, and as a family, we help anyone we can when the need arises. Whether it's meal arrangements for a family whose mother is sick, or lawn care for someone who's injured, we come together and help one another. Would you like to help? Join us in spreading the Love of Jesus Christ through this very special ministry.
Our desire for all adults is to get involved with "Loving God, Loving People, Serving the World". This year, we are promoting volunteer opportunities at the following three organizations: 1) Far Northwest Caregivers - providing rides for seniors to appointments 2) Hope Connections Pregnancy Resource Center - being a helping hand in whatever area needed 3) Hill Country Community Ministries - helping to stock and sort items, etc. Let's reach out to our local community this year and make a difference, one life at a time. Wednesday Night Bible Study Beginning June 4th, will be a new Bible study for ALL adults in the fellowship hall. Who is teaching? You are! That's right, Joy and I will be leading the Kidz Khoir, leaving a vacancy for Bible teaching- on purpose. It is my desire for the men in our church to fill the schedule by teaching a Bible passage/subject that is dear to them one Wednesday night this summer. So men, (no pressure) will you sign up for one night? Who knows how God can use YOU...
